The Energizing Power of Blessing

“There are people whom I wish well, and only wish that I could wish better.” So wrote a famous poet. The good news is that we can wish better or should I say do better than wish. We can bless if we have the power of Christ within. The words "God bless you" have energizing power. How often do we say that to our spouse or our children, our brothers and sisters? And don't settle for the shortened phrase “bless you” or “God bless.” Say the whole thing "God bless you" and the words of our Lord God to Moses in Numbers 6:24, 26 would become a beautiful way to start your day or someone else's.
