Daily Renewal for the Weary Soul

We are all familiar with fatigue, a condition that besets us from time to time. Sufficient rest is usually the cure. There is also a spiritual fatigue that needs correcting. Isaiah 40:31 says: “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” “For though the outward man perish and becomes fatigued the inner man is renewed day by day.” 2 Cor 4:16. “Fear not; for I am with thee: I am thy God: I will strengthen thee.” Isaiah 41:13.
